Day 2: Second Verse, Same as the First, a Little More Painful and a Little Bit Worse

Day two has just happened and its not getting easier. I guess that should be expected after just two days. I feel I just did leg day twice in a row, and you never do leg day twice in a row... Different day, same pain.

Day 1: One Small Ounce For Man One Giant Gallon for Mankind

You've heard the talk, but now here's the excruciating walk. Day one begins simply with an ounce. An ounce of pure red fire. Here it is folks, that first step. For your information I did not throw up, I kept it all down.

He's the Man with the Plan: FOR PAIN

A little late but here is day one of my journey. As I said a gallon is equivalent to 128 ounces, by that logic that should take at the most 128 days. Now that seems a bit long so lets cut that down to one month. Don't believe me? Here's the plan:

Gallon Challenge Plan:
Day 1-7: (1) one ounce shot each day. (121 ounces left)
Day 8-14: (1) two ounce shot each day. (107 ounces left)
Day 15-21: (2) two ounce shots each day. (79 ounces left)
Day 21-28: (3) two ounce shots each day. (37 ounces left)
Day 29: (1) eight ounce cup. (29 ounces left)
Day 30: (1) twelve ounce cup. (17 ounces left)
Day 31: (1) 17 ounce cup. (0 Ounces left)

Now for reference here is a comparison of a gallon of Tabasco to the traditional restaurant size bottle of Tabasco;

That little bottle on the right is 2 ounces, .015625 percent or 1/64th the amount in a gallon. I usually use one of those bottles when I eat out and it makes me sweat a decent amount. I'm starting small at an ounce because I want my body to be accustomed to pure unadulterated Tabasco sauce. Here's to a month long journey of pain. If you enjoy watching people in pain as much as I like inflicting pain on myself, then you are at the right place.

Happy Valentines Day!

I've had the idea to do this for a long time. I really enjoy Tabasco and put copious amounts on most of what I eat. But more than that I love the burn that comes from it and the feeling of pain, but also the accomplishment of overcoming that pain. but what would it be like to try to go through a gallon of Tabasco sauce? I want to raise my tolerance of heat and think this is a great way to start. So enjoy my journey through 128 ounces of pain and follow me as I do my own "gallon challenge".
